Osmond Cafe sits quietly on Glen Osmond Road in Fullarton, easy to miss if you’re not looking for a low-key spot blending Aussie café culture with Vietnamese influences. This container-style café feels tucked away under a canopy of trees, providing a relaxed pause from the steady traffic outside. It’s a straightforward place where locals drop in for a solid coffee and a quick bite, rather than a long sit-down meal.

The menu mixes familiar breakfast staples like egg and bacon rolls or ham and cheese toasties with Vietnamese flavors—think fresh spring rolls, a beef pho noodle soup, and notably, their Bahn mi options. The halloumi Bahn mi, for example, has earned a quiet following for balancing fresh ingredients and hearty protein, fitting in well with the café’s casual vibe.

Coffee here gets particular attention, with several visitors noting the quality of their Vietnamese-style brews. It’s a spot where people often stop on their morning commute or afternoon stroll for a warm drink paired with a mini biscuit, or a quick snack like sweet potato fries or a fried chicken burger if hunger strikes. The service typically feels friendly and genuine, setting the tone for a brief but pleasant break.

Parking is limited to nearby side streets, reflecting its spot on a busy stretch where convenience might be a factor. The atmosphere leans towards low-fi and welcoming — perfect for those who want to watch Glen Osmond Road’s traffic while nestled under trees rather than amid a noisy shopping strip. Weekday mornings or early afternoons are probably the best times to visit, avoiding any lunchtime rush and catching the café at its most relaxed.

Overall, Osmond Cafe suits anyone after a no-fuss range of breakfasts and lunch bites with a blend of Australian and Vietnamese touches, paired with genuinely well-crafted coffee. It’s an approachable, everyday kind of local spot rather than somewhere for a special occasion.

Solid egg and bacon sandwhich with fluffy soft bahnmi bread. Viet coffee was perfect too. Great place to chill and watch cars drive by. Photo doesn’t look appetising but it’s cause I finished it too fast…

Container cafe located right next to the Osmond Motel. Run by a Vietnamese family they make excellent hot drinks with adorably delicious mini biscuits and the halloumi Bahn mi was yummy.

Dropped into this random spot to get a coffee on the way to work. Google maps led me here. Greeted with a smile and nice service. Coffee was nice and hot. Pork viet roll was a nice snack and tasted fresh.

Absolutely Gorgeous looking cafe. Right next to the bustling and Busy Glen Osmond road but tucked away in a corner under the canopy of trees. Good ambience, super food. Coffee was great. I am not a coffee expert but the one I had today has to be one of the best for my liking. Parking is on the side streets only. Great blend of Aussie and Asian breakfast options. Highly recommended !!! Ah and the lady at the cafe is super nice and welcoming.

We stayed at the near by Osmond Apartments and grabbed some breakfast from here on a cold wet morning. Because it was wet, we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor area - it was dry but we were cold. Staff were very friendly and polite and the food was delicious. They were accommodating in customising our order. It’s a great small business, give them a go.

Visited this amazing Vietnamese café right beside my apartment at The Osmond Motel. Tried their Viet Iced Coffee with Salted Foam—so good! The Beef Pho was also delicious, with generous beef slices and a rich, tasty broth. Hopefully, they’ll add a bit more garnish next time, like thai basil, mint, bean sprouts, and plenty of spring onions! The staff were so lovely and accommodating too, loved their warmth and friendly smiles. Please support this wonderful small business, you’ll be amazed! Thank you,Osmond Cafe! Much Love, A Lady Traveller from Perth
